Woodbridge 36 - 41 Langley
Gorgeous weather and a very big pitch promoted rich, running rugby from both sides. The entire match stayed pretty much within a score for each team but Langley just seemed to have a little more in the tank. The Woodbridge defence was occasionally a little slow in terms of line-speed and this allowed some pretty intimidating Langley runners to hit their straps. In attack Woodbridge scored some great individual tries from distance. This was a great game to watch and a great game to play in with lots of heart, resilience and character on display. A special mention to the Langley staff referee who kept the game flowing as much as possible - well done to everyone on display.
